Maintenance

United Cooling Systems [P] Ltd. is the only company taking care of its produced item from Production to Product's lifetime. It assists to its customers for all their water problems, scale Formation, Corrosion, Algae, Fungus control, dosing of chemicals. Mainly we can say a thorough water treatment and Descaling. It undertakes site services of Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers and oil coolers.

WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS: (UNICO - 777: UNICO JANATHA):

It is a scale preventer. Normally water (H2O) contains calcium, Magnesium, Fe, Dusts, Alkali-earth components, Minerals etc. At a Boiling level (100 deg .C) there is a chance for separation of the above scales, sludge's, Salts and it is deposited in the heat transfer areas. It is the most fouling factor of heat transfer efficiency.

NECESSITY OF WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS:

To avoid these problems our water treatment chemicals are used. While passivating the water with our above chemicals ,will reduce the tendency of separations of salt contents from water in higher temperature. It prevents the depositions of scale formations in the heat transfer areas. As the water since becomes chemical water, Fungus & Corrosion will be 100% nil. Due to the prevention of scale formation by our chemical, lead to avoid frequent descaling. So the life of the metal is increased. And also break down possibilities, maintenance shutdown, periodical descaling will be minimized. This chemical is laboratory tested and found no harmful to human bodies and metals. It is pale yellow in colour.

The PH value is 8.1. Since the PH value is maintained 8.1 levels there is no harm to human bodies. However it can be avoided for drinking purpose. Our chemicals are laboratorial tested and report enclosed. If our chemical is added with water, thermal conductivity will be boosted and hence best heat transfer efficiency will be achieved.

AREA OF APPLICATION:

Our UNICO chemicals are used in the water system of A/C Plants, Generators Engine, Oil coolers, Heat Exchangers, Compressor Inter/After Coolers, Spray bonds, Cooling Towers, Evaporators, Economizers, Hydraulic equipments, Sugar Factories, Cement, Distilleries, Solar Heat Exchangers, Radiators etc.

APPLICATION METHOD:

This UNICO-777 & UNICO JANATHA are both in pale yellow colour. UNICO-777 is the concentrated powder form but UNICO JANATHA is a liquid form comparatively lesser concentration. For Industrial application, take 1 Kg of UNICO-777 (Powder form) and add with a bucket of water, mix it and make liquid then pour it into the cooling system water. It will become pale yellow colour that is the optimum level of adding our UNICO chemical. It should be maintained in due course to achieve the better result. If the makeup water made the colour will be fade, then add chemicals to keep the colour of pale yellow. It is easy method of application. To achieve a better result apply our chemical after descaled the entire system i.e., free from scale fungi and Algae when passivating the water with UNICO water treatment chemicals will reduce the tendency of separation of salt contents from water at a higher level of temperature. So the scale deposition on heat transfer areas will be reduced due to the water is chemical water.

QUANTITY:

To make 5000 litres of water into pale yellow colour of 1 Kg of chemical is enough. It is only for first time of application. Then the quantity of chemical usage will be lesser depends upon the water Wastage.

DESCALING COMPOUND: SUPER-777, JANATHA - 77:

Descaling compound super-777 and Janatha-77 are Acid Based solutions with three Inhibitors to clean the scale formations in cooling water lines, Boilers, Heat Exchanger, oil coolers inter/After coolers of various applications with out any erosion or corrosion.

NECESSITY OF DESCALING:

Normally water contains more calcium, Magnesium (mg Co3) and some Alkali Earth components. In a Heat transferring process the water gets higher temperature from the hot fluid. At a higher temperature the components in water are having a quality of separation from water and deposited in the Heat Transfer areas. These are the most problematic & Fouling factors in heat transfer activities. It reduces the Heat transfer Efficiency so as to get a better result and utilities it is very much essential to clean the scale deposit in the system that is called descaling process. Here mechanical cleaning is enough for only some soft sludges and scales, but for hard scales mere rubbish is not enough for better result. More than that mechanical cleaning will damage the tubes and make it puncture. So chemical cleaning is Compulsory for a better result. The chemical, which is used for this purpose, is called Descaling Compounds. Our trade name for Descaling Compounds are super-777 (for Higher Valuable metals & systems) and Janatha-77 (for low valuable process materials) Our products are largely used in Heat exchangers, oil coolers, Inter/After Coolers, Condensers, Boiler pipelines, solar Heat Exchangers, Generator Engine water lines, Compressors, food processing, Railways, cement, sugar, Furnace and paper mills, water lines etc.

METHOD OF APPLICATION FOR ALL EQUIPMENTS EXCEPT RADIATOR:

Add the Descaling Compound and water in the Ratio of 1:1 and fill it in the system. Leave it in static condition or allow it to circulate in the system. After 5 hrs (Depends upon the thickness of the Scale formation allow more time (i.e upto 8 hrs to get full efficiency) Drain all the chemicals and flush all the colloid salts with ordinary water thoroughly. To avoid oxidation in heat transfer areas apply waste oil immediately after water wash. For efficiency dry bone Nitrogen gas also can be used to avoid oxidation. If the quantum of the equipment is large in size (for example Boilers) add more ratio of water fill it inside after dummied the low level nozzle ports and allow it for 18 hrs then drain and wash it with water.

FOR RADIATORS:

Add 1:8 ratio chemical and water then fill it in to the Radiator and drain in after 15 minutes, wash it with fresh water.

OTHER RANGE OF CHEMICALS:

  • CORROSSION INHIBITORS: To avoid corrosion forming in descaling applications.
  • HUMID COOL CHEMICALS: HUMID COOL - 777 - For humidification plants.
  • OXYGEN SCAVENGERS: To control oxygen forming.
  • DOZER CHEMICALS: For PH reducing and increasing.
  • ALGAE FUNGUS CONTROL CHEMICALS: For water cooling systems.
